Transconomy automates and accelerates data processing activities for agencies to create standardized transportation asset inventories. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), the software is capable of automatically detecting and classifying 300+ unique roadway assets including traffic signs according to the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), other point assets (such as light posts, utility poles, fire hydrants, etc.), line assets (such as guardrails, medians, barriers, etc.), and many more asset types as per the Model Inventory of Roadway Elements (MIRE) specifications. It offers lower cost and processing time per mile for creating roadway asset inventories as the asset extraction is mostly carried out by AI algorithms giving Transconomy a competitive edge.

Transconomy Hub automatically identifies duplicate assets across consecutive images collected using our smartphone app - Transconomy Collector or even images collected by your own source.
